The Public Transport Authority commissioned Audrey Fernandes-Satar and Arif Satar to develop artwork for a new fence installed around the Prospector train’s docking area in Kalgoorlie.

Fernandes-Satar and Satar consulted with local Indigenous people and collaborated with Kalgoorlie artist Debbie Carmody as well as working with local primary schools to develop a work based on the theme of journeys. The work looks at the history of Kalgoorlie and the Prospector from pre-contact to the present day.

The artwork consist of fourteen screens fabricated in stainless steel and ten screens fabricated in carbon steel. Etching and laser cutting are used to produce detailed graphic elements, which in parts are embellished with black, yellow and green automotive paint, that translate into a continuous flowing design. Children's designs are prominent in places, giving a freshness and vitality to the medium.
