Staffing Updates (2019)

The new year brought some changes to Artsource, as we farewelled old staff and welcomed new ones to our busy office.

At the end of 2018 we said goodbye to Elli Gemmo, our wonderful Membership Development Coordinator, as she moved on to her next great opportunity. More recently we were sad to see Mary Peck, our Membership Services Manager, leave Artsource after three years with the organisation. However we are also excited to present the new faces of Artsource, bringing fresh expertise and energy to their roles. Read more below about the current Artsource staff and their positions.

Leah Robbie

After joining as volunteer ArtLease consultant since February, Leah officially became a staff member at Artsource this May in the combined job of Membership + Studios Coordinator. Contact Leah from Monday to Thursday for queries regarding studio leases and maintenance, as well as insurance and leasing artwork.

Rose Barton

Rose joined Artsource in September 2018 as an intern and since January 2019 has been welcoming visitors to the front desk as our Membership and Marketing Assistant. For queries regarding marketing and advertising opportunities, newsletters, Artsource membership and subscriptions, Fremantle maintenance, artist details or general queries contact Rose from Monday to Thursday.

Rhyll Walshe

Rhyll recently joined Artsource in the role of Events and Professional Development Coordinator. Bringing a wealth of experience to the position, Rhyll is responsible for managing events at Old Customs House, as well as Artsource professional development programs and networking events. Rhyll can be contacted for bookings, partnerships and further information on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.
 

Caretakers

We are delighted to introduce the new caretakers for our various studio locations across the Perth Metro area. These artists hold studios at their respective hubs and will be assisting current staff with maintenance, studio viewings and events.

Volunteers and Interns

We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank our volunteers Denni Clifton and Catherine Halligan-Joly, as well as our interns Cara Teusner-Gartland, Jaimi Wright and Sebastian Becker, for their ongoing dedication and enthusiastic contribution to Artsource.

We are currently on the lookout for an amazing volunteer co-ordinator to manage the growing list of people who dedicate time to help with Artsource events, marketing, administration and IT.
