Biography
Practicing professional artist with studios in Perth, Australia and Petworth, England. Karen’s Interior Design background and extensive international travelling over three decades influence her visual aesthetics and perspective. Dynamic compositional complexity give her work characterful authenticity. Karen is a recent recipient of several awards in the USA in 2021 and 2022. 1st Place - Juried American Art Awards; 2nd Place Top Awards.com Best of the Best. 3rd Place Top Art Awards.com - Acrylics. FinList in the Juried A2L Awards. Karen’s art is regularly exhibited in WA and UK and her work can often be seen at Juniper Galleries WA. Karen’s paintings are featured in House & Garden UK magazine in February, March and April 2022 editions. Karen was born in England and has lived most of her adult life equally between Australia and England. Commissions accepted.
