Biography
Sarah completed a Bachelor of Fine Art and Diploma in 2010 followed by a Graduate Diploma of Secondary Education in 2011, from the University of Curtin. She continued her teaching studies acquiring a Master of Education, specializing in Gifted and Talented Education completed in 2014 from the University of Murdoch. Sarah has spent over a decade sharing her passion for the Visual Arts with her students. In 2019 she received a National Excellence in Teaching Award in recognition of her outstanding contribution to education. Sarah is a current member of the Community of Practice for Educators committee with the National Association for Visual Arts (NAVA). Sarah works on her own art practice inspired by her travels around Australia, while also collaborating with high school students and facilitating art workshops, encouraging others to connect with their creativity.
