Biography

Born in Perth (1992) and raised in Busselton, Western Australia. Graduated High School in 2009 and began a Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Western Australia in 2011. In 2012 Jack left his studies to work various jobs around the Perth area. While working for an industrial cleaning company in October of 2015 and pursuing art as a hobby, Jack was given an opportunity to paint a mural on a business in Mandurah. The mural was well received and led to more public art opportunities in the South-West region as well as the Perth Metropolitan area and abroad. He is now based in Perth where he continues to evolve his public and private art practice full-time.

Artist Statement

Jack Bromell is a self-taught, Italian-Australian artist who has been working professionally since late 2015. His work is characterised by an intricate, illustrative style and is inspired heavily by the native flora and fauna of Western Australia. Jack’s work combines timeless imagery with monochromatic colour schemes and bold silhouettes.
