Biography
Anton Lord combines decades of technical expertise in audio & light to the creation of large-scale sculptural works. After years in AV and events, he transitioned into visual arts, merging his skills in coding, electronics, and AI to fabricate immersive, kinetic pieces.
The natural world plays a dual role in Anton’s work, serving as a striking backdrop and an integral structural host. His works have appeared in diverse settings—from remote, off-grid installations and large festivals to public exhibitions like Sculpture at Bathers and Sculpture by the Sea, as well as permanent pieces in commercial and private collections.
Anton’s art challenges norms, drawing from the "dusty edge" of creativity found at events like Burning Man, where purpose, place, and people collide. His evolving studio, Factotum Industries, supports both his practice and collaborations in his creative journey.
